SECOND CITY RHYTHM. ADULTURE & GHOSTS OF VENICE!

————————————————————

Second City Rhythm is the newest collaboration project from burgeoning house-music producers Adulture (Chicago) and Ghosts of Venice (United Kingdom).

Adulture, known best for his releases on Dust Traxx Chicago and Solid Bump Records including “Paper Cat” and “No Use in Crying EP” has been a young staple of the Chicago house-music scene. Producing vintage-inspired, forward-thinking house music and DJing his weekly residency (Dollar Disco) at Chicago’s legendary Smart Bar, Adulture has developed a notable following both at home and internationally.

Ghosts of Venice burst onto the House scene in late 2009 with remixes for the likes of Grum, James Talk and Ridney. Ever since, he has been developing his own unique brand of filtered disco house. He is known for his energetic DJ sets as well as his stripped down style of production, and his tracks have already been picked up by the likes of Hed Kandi, Dust Traxx Chicago and Strictly Rhythm, the label which is home to his first big UK single ‘Without You’ featuring Errol Reid.

After releasing their debut single (You Got Me) together as Second City Rhythm, the duo ignited a spark in the currently monotonus progressive-house-trance-pop focused dance music landscape. After fielding offers from various record labels, Second City Rhythm decided the best course of action was to form their own own label and carve out a meaningful, lasting niche of modern house music.
